Congregation Beth Elohim welcomes new members
To learn about membership, scroll to the bottom of the page or click here.
Congregation Beth Elohim is a community synagogue with a liberal orientation which combines an appreciation for the sanctity of Jewish traditions with a sensitivity to the needs of a population which is religiously quite diverse. We welcome families of mixed religious backgrounds who are interested in exploring Judaism. We are, by choice, independent, drawing membership from varying backgrounds, including traditional, Conservative, Reform and secular. Interfaith families are welcome to participate in all functions, programs, and opportunities offered by the congregation regardless of the faith of the individual member or loved ones.
Our programs and initiatives include a Religious School for grades K-10, Family Education, Adult Education, a superb adult choir, Tot Shabbat, Social Action group, an active BBYO youth group for teens, and Sisterhood and Brotherhood organizations. Since 2002, we have housed and run the CBE Early Learning Center — a professionally accredited, Jewish-oriented early education and care program for children ages 15 months through five years. Beth Elohim draws members from such surrounding towns as Acton, Boxborough, Concord, Littleton, Stow, Maynard, Harvard, Sudbury, Westford, Chelmsford, and Groton.
Check out video messages and articles from new and long time congregants about what CBE means to them. Or read "50 Word" messages of love for CBE, submitted by congregants on the occasion of our 50th anniversary.

We've gone solar!
In observance of the mitzvah, sh'mirat ha-adamah, "protecting the earth," the CBE board has made the commitment to solar power.
Electricity generated by our four solar canopies is among the most for a house of worship in Massachusetts.
See in real time how much electricity is produced directly for CBE and for CBE & the Community. Read about the solar project and when the system went live. Also learn how families are helping the environment by watching our teens in a short video or by joining the Green Team.
