Brotherhood-led Shabbat Service

The Brotherhood will host and lead Friday Night Shabbat services on Friday, March 21st. This will be a wonderful evening welcoming in shabbat together with a critical mass of congregants in attendance. All members of the CBE community are invited in joining us in welcoming shabbat!  The service will be in person and available via Zoom using the standard CBE zoom link for Friday night services.

We don't usually ask for people to sign up for services, however, we expect a larger crowd for this service.  So, for our planning purposes, especially if you will attend in person, we ask that you sign up below.  Brotherhood members can also let us know how you want to participate in the service and oneg when you sign up.

If you are a brotherhood member, we are looking for volunteers to help with a portion of the service.  We hope to include most of the Brothers in the service, even if only for small parts. If you are interested in a Hebrew or English part, let us know and we will assign you one with plenty of time to learn and practice. Cantor Sarra has graciously agreed to teach parts as needed.

We will also be hosting a delicious Oneg after the service with schmoozing and noshing. We need volunteers to provide the oneg snacks, help set up and help clean up.  

If you are a Brotherhood member and would like to volunteer, please fill out the sign-up form below (which includes a volunteer question) by Friday February 28th so we can start planning the shabbat services.

The form will be open until the service for all that sign up to attend.
