CBE Volunteer Security Training Options

High Holidays are fast approaching. The CBE security team would like to bring to your attention several training opportunities for CBE usher/greeter/parker volunteers.

Ushers/greeters/parkers not only welcome and direct members of the community but also play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment, ensuring that worshippers can observe the holidays with peace of mind. To help prepare volunteers for this important role, we would like to share several training opportunities.

There will be a training/information session for CBE High Holiday volunteers on September 11th at 6 PM conducted at CBE by Acton Police Department together with the CBE Security Team. We request all High Holiday volunteers attend this meeting. 

If this doesn't fit your schedule, CJP Community Security Initiative offers several in-person and virtual training sessions including virtual Usher/Greeter Training on Monday, August 28th at 4:00-5:30 PM and in-person session at Kerem Shalom in Concord on Thursday, September 7th at 6:00 - 7:30 PM.
