Purim Shpiel Performances and Purim Carnival

Join us for one of our 5779 CBE Purim Shpiel performances and our Purim Carnival!

The festive holiday of Purim is an annual highlight at Congregation Beth Elohim, featuring a series of community-wide services and celebrations. Plan to attend one of our three performances of our annual Purim shpiel.   A Purim shpiel traditionally tells the Purim story (how Queen Esther saved the Jews in ancient Persia) but in a humorous and musical context. Our version this year is an original musical parody, boasting a cast of all ages and a secret theme.
