An Inclusive Interfaith Musical Experience — Based on Shared Wisdom from our Faith Traditions

Co-sponsored by Congregation Beth Elohim and St. Matthew's UMC

We invite people of all faiths to join us as singers and listeners in a powerful and uplifting musical experience. Join us in singing and listening to sacred words from the Abrahamic faith traditions, including new musical interpretations of the Golden Rule, Pirket Avot (Ethics of our Fathers), the Lord’s Prayer, the Surah Fatiha and other ancient texts.

Led by the One Spirit Jazz Ensemble and Interfaith Chorus, we will lift up our voices together and experience firsthand how the power of music can deepen and enliven our spirit — and how the power of love and inclusion can help mend our world.

Cantor Sarra and members of the CBE and St. Matthew’s choirs will be singing with the Chorus.

To help us plan, please CLICK HERE to let us know you are coming!

Singing as a member of the Interfaith Chorus is open to anyone!

Two pre-concert rehearsals will be held on Thursday, January 30 at 7:00 pm at St. Matthew’s UMC, and Sunday, February 9 at 3:00 pm at Congregation Beth Elohim. To join the chorus, contact: Yosef@onespiritfoundation.org

To learn more about the artists and musicians of the One Spirit Foundation, and to hear recordings of past concerts, visit www.onespiritfoundation.org

Light refreshments will be served following the event, which is free and open to the public. We are accepting donations at the door to defray expenses and for Dignity in Asylum, a local, Concord-based group that provides free housing and support to refugees and people seeking asylum.
