As in the past, CBE Social Action is organizing a group of volunteers to serve dinner at Cor Unum on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Lori Lotterman's family has volunteered for the past 10 years. 

For those of you unfamiliar with Cor Unum, it is a not-for-profit meal center located in Lawrence, MA - the poorest city in the state. It provides free, nutritious meals twice a day, 365 days a year, in a safe environment to anyone in need of food, and we have a long-standing tradition of providing volunteers to this organization for Easter and Christmas.

We are looking for a few volunteers for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for the dinners from 3:30 PM to about 7 PM. All volunteers must be in High School or older at this time.

 If you’d like to commit now, or have any questions about what's involved, please email Lori Lotterman kushlot@verizon.net. Be sure to let Lori know in the subject line how many people you are signing up, and which Eve or Day: Christmas Eve dinner(the 24th) or Christmas Day Dinner (the 25th). This is a wonderful opportunity to help a local community, and we hope to see many of you there.

Please let us know ASAP if you can join us. We need volunteers for each day, and cor unum is not asking any other group at this time.
