Malka Young will share practical information that will help you help your parents or prepare for your own later years. How to find healthcare? What are the pitfalls to avoid? What does Medicare cover? What do you do if you are concerned about your parents' driving? These and other questions will be answered in an interesting and informative workshop.
Malka Young, LICSW, CCM, brings over forty years of experience working with older adults and their families, She is Director of Allies in Aging at JFS Elder Care Solutions. Malka was a Judaic Studies major at Brandeis, a teacher in local synagogues and Limmud Boston. She uses Jewish sources and traditions to help us understand our obligations towards our parents and ourselves in an engaging and interactive format.
