This is a minimum of a four hour hike round-trip {four miles for your Peloton!}. It is an elevation gain of 1,800 feet, and it is steep {and beautiful} at the top.

We need to carpool as parking is limited.  We are going up a less populated trail, and the parking lot is free, but needs SUVs to get there.

We will meet at CBE at 8:00 AM.  We will leave at 8:15 AM sharp to get to the trailhead by 9:30 AM.  Rain will cause us to cancel the hike.  

It is a one hour drive to Jaffery, NH from CBE. This trip is open to everyone at CBE.  We are limited to 20 participants (AMC guidelines), so the sign up is limited to 18 plus your trip leaders, Andrew Gruskay and Ethan Sokol.

We will be leaving from the Monadnock Headquarters to go to the Marlboro trail.

Come prepared.  Proper foot wear is essential {preferable to have hiking boots}.  At least 1 liter of water and a dairy lunch are required per person. 

The plan when we are down at 3:00 pm is to go to Kimballs in Jaffery for ice cream.
