Join us to enjoy a mid-winter night of comedy and support this CBE fundraiser event featuring internationally known comedian, Joel Chasnoff (via ZOOM)!

A comedic deep dive into the absurdities of Jewish Life. Hilarious recollections from his great grandparents’ botched immigration at Ellis Island to serving in the IDF unit he nicknamed “The 188th Crybaby Brigade,” to the challenges of raising a Jewish family of his own, Joel Chasnoff comes to us directly from the “Land of Milk and Funny”!   

A Chicago native, Joel has performed on stage and screen in 9 countries, including two off-Broadway shows, a USO comedy tour of Japan and Korea, more than 1,000 Jewish events in North America and Europe, and Israel.  Check Joel out at https://joelchasnoff.com/, 

The evening's program will include a 15 minute Havdalah Service led by Rabbi Mike followed by Scramble Powerpoint (words that scramble our brains!) led by Tom Wachtell,  Cocktail Lesson taught by Linda Minkoff,  all followed by our star attraction, Joel's comedy set!  The group will wrap up about 8:20pm and then those that signed up or won the raffle will convene on a different ZOOM link/ password for the Meet and Greet with Joel from 8:25pm until 8:45pm!

All that sign up will receive an email, prior to the event, with the ZOOM link and password.    Those who are eligible will receive an additional email with the ZOOM link and password for the Meet and Greet with Joel.
