Dear CBE Member,

What does community mean to you? Is it a place of shared values? Shared traditions? A shared vision of
the world? This year, Congregation Beth Elohim is celebrating that we are Kehillah Achat, One
Community.

We are a home where everyone belongs.

As a member of CBE, you and your family bring something unique and important to this community. CBE
provides many opportunities to be involved throughout the year, in ways that are meaningful to you.

• You pray and study together every Sabbath at Friday evening services or Saturday morning Torah study.
• You and your children participate in the community of learning at religious school or in adult learning programs.
• You bring your passion for social justice and Tikkun Olam to Na’aseh and Kulanu projects.
• You support each other at daily minyan and shiva calls.
• You have fun and try new things with Brotherhood and Sisterhood (and sometimes even win softball championships!)
• You volunteer for the many tasks needed to maintain CBE as a healthy and thriving organization.

We are connected through Jewish identity and across generations.

Our unique Jewish community endures solely because of the contributions and efforts of our members.
Fifty years ago, members just like you decided we needed a permanent place to live our Jewish identity
here in Acton and the surrounding towns. Their efforts were the foundation for our current physical
space and spiritual community. The endurance of this community today is entirely because of the
members like you who contribute the time, money, and effort that keep CBE here year after year, for
each new generation.

We see each person as integral to our community.

Even if you only visit a few times a year, your annual High Holiday contribution ensures that CBE will
always be here for you and your family. Every contribution, big or small, helps us reach our appeal goal
of $55,000. What is the endurance of the CBE community worth to you?
