Join us for a ZOOM Chanukah Menorah lighting and discussion of Heather McGhee's book, "The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together" on Thursday, December 2 and Tuesday, December 14

The Racial Justice Committee is leading two workshops on what racism costs all of us.  The discussions will draw from Heather McGhee's book, "The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together."

On Thursday, December 2nd, we will look at how the story of Chanukah inspires us to call on our tradition of resilience to overcome injustice.

The book is available at Silver Unicorn in Acton, other bookstores, and online.  There are also some excellent interviews with Heather McGhee online.  If you can't read the book, watch the videos and come be a part of the discussion.  Everyone's voice is valuable!
