The Sisterhood at CBE offers social, educational
and service-oriented activities for the enrichment of our CBE community,
as well as for our greater Jewish community. We currently have 115 members
from over 10 surrounding towns.
Most importantly,
you do not have to be a member of CBE to participate in the Sisterhood.
Joining Sisterhood is a great
way to meet new people, have fun, as well as get a feel for the CBE

Our activities started in September with a
very informal "Back to School" dessert and a Sukkoth Decorating Program.
Throughout the year, you will have a chance to meet new and current
members through a variety of programming. We will have a Chanukah Fair,
our annual Community Supper in mid-December, a children’s program during
the February school vacation and a Pot Luck-Wine Tasting Dinner during
the chilly winter months. Other programming that is educational and
social is in the works! Much of our fundraising activities support
the Temple and community in the way of direct contributions to funds
and grants.

Gift Boxes are Back!
Sure to put a smile on the faces of any college
student ... a box of goodies from home! Send one box or all three to
a college student near and dear to your heart. The CBE Sisterhood is
coordinating gift boxes for the Jewish holidays listed below during
the 2006-2007 school year. Select the holiday boxes you would like to
send. All boxes will include holiday related food and tsatskes!
