Congregation Beth Elohim is a caring community. The CBE Chesed Committee is prepared to help in time of need. Volunteers are available to provide a variety of services including the following:
Bereavement contact
Shiva arrangement and help
Meals for families in crisis
Transportation for emergency situations
Follow-up calls or visits to congregants in connection with bereavement or illness
If you or a fellow congregant needs a helping hand with an occasional meal, or a ride to a medical appointment, or shopping, the Chesed Committee can arrange it. Please let us know when a need arises.
