Our music program, which is primarily for Kindergarten - 7th graders, and occurs on Sunday mornings, has become a very important part of our curriculum and of our students' experience.
Music classes help students prepare for their class Shabbat and for school assemblies to celebrate holidays such as Chanukah, Purim and Israel Independence Day. In some grades Shira is used to reinforce subjects taught in the curriculum. Singing is also integrated into events such as the Maccabiah. Shirah adds lots of ruach to our school-- it is a favorite of students and faculty alike.
