Adult Education at Congregation Beth Elohim involves a wide
spectrum of life long opportunities to study. Our programming
includes continuing curricula in Hebrew language, history, liturgical
music and text study. We offer mini courses taught by congregants,
our Rabbi and local academicians of the highest caliber. Longer
commitments engage the learner in Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah and
Me’ah, 100 hours of study co-sponsored by Hebrew College and
Combined Jewish Philanthropies. Highlights of our year include an
entire Shabbat and more with a Scholar-in-Residence. Also, together
with the Family Education Committee, a weekend long engagement with
special authors as a part of our Am HaSefer program. We also invite
you to hear ongoing speakers concerning current events focused on
Israel and the Middle East. Whether you want to come to a 2 hour
topical lecture or follow your dream to spend a couple of years
preparing for your mid-life “coming of age” opportunity to
publicly read from Torah, the Adult Ed program has something to
stimulate your spiritual and intellectual interests. Come try us
